Comments on Teaching and Learning at Xavier: Effective business education, as with other applied fields, requires a balance of theoretical, applied, and skill based curricula. My greatest challenge is to identify and maintain that balance. I must stay current in the scientific sales and marketing literature, as well as, with what's going on in the field in order to ensure my students are performance ready when they enter the work force, and that they have the skills necessary to make a significant impact on their organization very early in their careers.
