Fundamentals of Public Speaking (Honors)

Fundamentals of Public Speaking (Honors) can be taken to fulfill the public speaking course requirement. The primary difference between the regular SPCM 1010 and the honors course concerns a service-learning project that partners Xavier students with a community group in New Orleans. For Spring 2004, SPCM 1011H students will mentor Thurgood Marshall Middle School students in a public speaking assignment that focuses on cultural identity.
