A Guide to Publishing
The Ins and Outs of Book Publishing

Gary came to Xavier's history department in 1987. He has published six books since then, with a seventh to be out before the end of the academic year. His last book, Twentieth Century America, was published by Longman Publishers. Gary's next book, Liberalism's Last Hurrah: The Presidential Campaign of 1964, will be published by M.E. Sharpe.

Gary will discuss some of the ins and outs of book publishing, from defining a research topic, to finding a publisher, and the editorial process. He'll also answer questions.
