It's Not Personal
Politics in the Classroom Dynamic

The faculty participants will share tips on 1) how to manage reasoned public conversations on topics that evoke individual student anger or discomfort, 2) preemptive ways to defuse personal attacks, 3) the place for personal faculty viewpoints, and 4) getting our students to walk a mile in another's shoes (especially shoes from other countries and cultures). Time will be allotted for questions and collaborative brainstorming.
