Blackboard: Unleashing Its Power in the Classroom
Discussion Board: Making the Most of Discussions
Do you want to encourage academic discussion outside the classroom? Blackboard's Discussion Board may be useful to you. The Discussion Board is an asynchronous communication tool used for posting and responding to messages. This hands-on workshop will show you how to setup and use the Discussion Board.
Dr. MaPo Kinnord-Payton uses discussion boards in her classes. She will explain how she uses the Discussion Board and share some of the issues and challenges as well as the successes she has had with using Discussion Boards.
