Yuk It Up
Using Humor in the Classroom

In this interactive workshop we will explore the power of humor, its effectiveness for learning, and tips for incorporating it in the classroom.

Four professors (Dr. Charles Gramlich, Psychology; Dr. Bonnie Noonan, English; Dr. Claire Norris, Sociology; and Dr. Joe Ross, Biology) who have been consistently described by students as funny will share their insights on how they use humor in their classes. We will wrap up the workshop with questions and discussion from the audience.
