How shall I live, knowing I will die?

Eye death

We invite faculty to participate in an informal roundtable centered around the topic of mortality. "Every moment in this life is a precious gift. In our brief time here, what qualities do we wish to cultivate? If we are aware of our mortality, we can live less by accident and live instead with clarity and purpose." How does awareness of mortality inform our teaching and connect us to the Xavier mission — or does it? These and other questions are all fair game. Come join us for light refreshments and an openhearted discussion.
