Failure is An Option
Helping Your Students Make Their Mistakes Work for Them

Failure is not only an option; it's a necessity. Mistakes are one of the most important things that can happen in the classroom because they tell you exactly where to focus your efforts in helping students to master a concept. Academic success comes from how students feel about and use their mistakes. Teaching your students how to view and use their mistakes in a positive way is one of the most important things you can ever teach them. Mastery of this skill transcends disciplines and settings (i.e., educational, work, etc.).
