(If you aren't already signed up, please <a href=\"http:\/\/cat.xula.edu\/food\/subscribe\/\">subscribe now<\/a> so you never miss a post.) We're upgrading to MailChimp, and going forward, our email newsletter should look better than ever. We're retiring our FeedBurner newsletter (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\/opinion\/stop-using-feedburner-move-to-feedburner-alternatives\/\">for good reason<\/a>), and we have high hopes for a smooth transition.<\/p>\n<p>What do you need to do? Nothing! We'll make the switch in a few days. Just relax and enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>The old newsletter usually went out at 4PM, whereas the new newsletter goes out at 4AM. You may get one duplicate issue. Please bear with us!<\/p>\n<p>Actually, however, there is one potential \"gotcha\" for those who use the tabbed inbox in Gmail.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Gmail Inbox Tabs by XULACAT, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/xulacat\/9468341166\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7300\/9468341166_261a4395ce.jpg?w=625\" alt=\"Gmail Inbox Tabs\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are using tabbed inboxes in Gmail, you may find our CAT FooD newsletter tucked away under the \"Promotions\" tab. If you'd rather see it in your \"Primary\" tab, all you need to do is\u00a0move the email there one time, and that <em>should<\/em> train Gmail to put it there from now on.<\/p>\n<p>You can simply drag-and-drop the email to your Primary tab, or right-click on the message and move it to the Primary tab via the little pop-up menu. Either way, Gmail will ask if you want to do this for future messages from us.
