I'm a big fan of setting up your Blackboard course to minimize student questions. A lot of student questions are asked via email. I provided some tips on how you can <a href=\"http:\/\/cat.xula.edu\/food\/tips-to-help-you-manage-student-emails\/\">manage student emails<\/a> in previous CAT FooD blog post. <\/p>\n<p>For those times when students do need to send email to you, you can give them a one click solution to make it easy for them to send you email from inside your Blackboard course. <\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a <em><strong>Bb ninja trick<\/strong><\/em> to do the job.<\/p>\n<p><div align=\"center\"><a title=\"ninja star\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cdn01.wallconvert.com\/_media\/wp_400x250\/1\/2\/18485.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cdn01.wallconvert.com\/_media\/wp_400x250\/1\/2\/18485.jpg?resize=300%2C188\" alt=\"ninja star embedded in a tree\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Follow these steps to do it.<\/h3>\n<p>To add an \u201cEmail the Professor\u201d link to your course menu:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From the [Add Course Menu] option, choose [Course Link].<\/li>\n<li>Click on [Browse]  in the Add Course Link window.<\/li>\n<li>Choose [All Instructor Users] from the pop-up window. This can be found in the Tools area under Send Email.<\/li>\n<li>Change the name field to \u201cEmail the Professor\u201d and make sure the Available to Users box is checked. Click Submit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The Tools link must be in your course menu for these instructions to work.
