Their group, the Faculty Community of Teaching Scholars (FaCTS), is funded by the Andrew Mellon Foundation and provides a stipend for participants to explore that year\u2019s theme. The theme for academic year 2017\u201318 is \u201cMaking knowledge public using educational technology.\u201d Dr. Megan Osterbur, who participates in Wiki Ed\u2019s Classroom Program, helped organize this year\u2019s group of selected applicants and saw a clear alignment with Wikipedia assignments.
