The Continuous Delivery model gives us regular monthly updates allowing for incremental and easily integrated changes with no downtime required for our Brightspace system.<\/p>\n<p>Our Continuous Delivery update occurs on the 4th Thursday of each month. D2L provides <a href=\"https:\/\/community.brightspace.com\/s\/article\/All-Release-Notes\">release notes<\/a> to help users stay up-to-date with the changes.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few updates in the October 2020\/20.20.10 release that were added to our system this month:<\/p>\n<div>\n<h4>1)  Brightspace Learning Environment - File types added to restricted upload list<\/h4>\n<p>For security reasons, D2L restricts the uploading of certain file types to Brightspace Learning Environment. This feature adds the following file types to the restricted list:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>.cgi<\/li>\n<li>.cmd<\/li>\n<li>.hta<\/li>\n<li>.jar<\/li>\n<li>.lib<\/li>\n<li>.pl<\/li>\n<li>.pm<\/li>\n<li>.ps1<\/li>\n<li>.sh<\/li>\n<li>.vbscript<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For additional information on restricted file types, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/documentation.brightspace.com\/EN\/brightspace\/requirements\/all\/restricted_mime_types.htm\">Restricted MIME types in Brightspace Learning Environment<\/a> help topic.\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>2) Quick Eval - User interface improvements<\/h4>\n<p>Quick Eval is now listed in the <strong>Course Admin<\/strong> page under the <strong>Assessment<\/strong> category.\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>3) Quiz Builder - Question import improvements<\/h4>\n<p>This feature updates question importing options in Quiz Builder. When importing questions from Question Library, users can now use the default end of quiz location for the questions, or choose to import the questions into a section. In the previous release, this update extended only to quizzes with attempts started after the <a href=\"https:\/\/community.brightspace.com\/s\/article\/Brightspace-Platform-June-2020-20-20-6-Release-Notes-351689919\">June 2020\/20.20.6 release<\/a>.
