Calculated columns can be used to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calculate total points<\/li>\n<li>Calculate grade based on weight<\/li>\n<li>Calculate an average grade<\/li>\n<li>Calculate a minimum or maximum grade<\/li>\n<li>Set criteria when creating Adaptive Release and Retention Center rules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A+ Grade\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cat.xula.edu\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/A-plus_Grade.jpg?w=625\" title=\"A+ Grade\" alt=\"A+ Grade\"\/><\/div>\n<p>You can include a calculated column when creating another calculated column. For example, if you created a calculated column that weighs quiz grades, you can include the column when creating a final grade column.<\/p>\n<p>A Total and Weighted Total column are automatically created in the Grade Center when new courses are created. You can rename, change the settings, determine which columns are included, or delete these default columns.<\/p>\n<h3>Follow these steps to do it.<\/h3>\n<p>To add a calculated column:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the [Control Panel] of the course you want to add a calculated column.
