{"id":2803,"date":"2014-02-20T15:15:57","date_gmt":"2014-02-20T20:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cat.xula.edu\/food\/?p=2803"},"modified":"2014-02-20T15:15:57","modified_gmt":"2014-02-20T20:15:57","slug":"ill-have-some-merlot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cat.xula.edu\/food\/ill-have-some-merlot\/","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;ll have some MERLOT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.merlot.org\/merlot\/index.htm\">MERLOT<\/a>, Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching, \" is a free and open peer reviewed collection of online teaching and learning materials and faculty-developed services contributed and used by an international education community. \"<\/p>\n<p>A program of the California State University System, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.merlot.org\/merlot\/index.htm\">MERLOT<\/a> is a great starting point for those interested in technology-infused classrooms as well as hybrid and online courses.  It's also free and open--no corkscrew required.<\/p>\n<p>One of a multitude of resources is a scholarly publication,<a href=\"http:\/\/jolt.merlot.org\/\"> JOLT, The Journal of Online Learning and Teaching<\/a>.  JOLT has a wonderful index so that you can easily search for specific topics (and you're highly likely to find them).<\/p>\n<p>As one would expect, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.merlot.org\/merlot\/index.htm\">MERLOT<\/a> is everywhere social media is as well.
