Educators are finding interesting ways to use social media in their teaching and learning. Benefits to using social media in teaching and learning include putting concepts into context, keeping course content up-to-date, and fostering a sense of community both in and out of the classroom.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Facebook and Twitter may be ubiquitous, but there are many other social media tools out there that can enhance teaching and learning.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Facebook and Twitter are social media tools that are familiar to most people.
