Hidden columns are not deleted from the Grade Center. Instructors can show\/hide and reorder Grade Center columns at any time.<\/p>\n<h3>Follow these steps to do it.<\/h3>\n<p>You can hide Grade Center columns in one of two ways.<\/p>\n<h4>Method One - Hide Column<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"GC column menu\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.uas.alaska.edu\/idc\/blackboard\/images1\/BBEditColumnInformation.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.uas.alaska.edu\/idc\/blackboard\/images1\/BBEditColumnInformation.png?resize=330%2C275\" alt=\"image showing Grade Center column menu options\" width=\"330\" height=\"275\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Method Two - Column Organization<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"GC Manage menu\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.cod.edu\/it\/blackboard\/TipsTricks\/Images\/OrganizeGC.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.cod.edu\/it\/blackboard\/TipsTricks\/Images\/OrganizeGC.png?resize=248%2C308\" alt=\"image showing Grade Center Manage menu with Column Organization selected\" width=\"248\" height=\"308\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the [Manage] menu, select [Column Organization].<\/li>\n<li>Click the checkbox to the left of the column you want to hide and then click on the [Show\/Hide] button.<\/li>\n<li>Click [Submit].<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>When you use Column Organization to hide a column, this will hide the column from the instructor\u2019s Grade Center view. However, students can still see the hidden column in My Grades. To hide columns from students you should use the drop-down menu to the right of the column name and choose \"Show\/Hide to Users\" or edit the column information and answer no to the \"Show this Column to Students\" option.
