href=\"http:\/\/www.globalaccessibilityawarenessday.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Global Accessibility Awareness Day<\/a>.\u00a0 CAT + has posted often on the topic of accessibility and the importance of design features in our courses that benefit ALL learners.\u00a0 But I think this organization has really good intentions--\"The purpose of GAAD is to get people talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) accessibility and users with different disabilities\" so I thought I would share the web address with you.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011 blogger John Devon posted on accessibility issues, especially in technology, and <a title=\"John Devon's blog post\" href=\"https:\/\/mysqltalk.wordpress.com\/2011\/11\/27\/challenge-accessibility-know-how-needs-to-go-mainstream-with-developers-now\/\" target=\"_blank\">his blog<\/a> sparked enough interest to create GAAD.<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at their site, join in some of the activities and <a title=\"like them on facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/globalaccessibilityawarenessday\" target=\"_blank\">like them on Facebook<\/a> if you appreciate their efforts.\u00a0 Thank you, merci, gracias (their site is not only accessible, but is multi-lingual!).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
