That Jesus cured people may seem more "extraordinary" or "supernatural" to us today than to people of Jesus's times. Certainly there were other "miracle workers" at the time of Jesus and the fact that one could perform miracles during the time of Jesus may have been an indication of power, but not necessarily an indication of God's power.
MT 12:24: "When the Pharisees heard this, [= that Jesus was curing people] they replied, `He drives out only because their ruler Beelzebul gives him power to do so."
Comment: That one would be curing people at the time of Jesus was not, in and of itself, an indication that one was a divine being or "Son of God."
