Acute Care Internal Medicine Clerkship totation

by Dr. John I Okogbaa

This course involves direct patient care in designing, recommending and evaluating specific pharmacotherapy with respect to different disease states. This course covers a host of disease states and management of these disease states. This is a course designated for the 4th year Doctor of pharmacy students. One of the aspects of student learning and my teaching that I want to document and address through this portfolio is what I call "teaching and assignment method". This method is designed to assess student understanding of the assignment given, and how they apply what I taught them in real cases. This method will also allow me to assess if the students are retaining the information.
