Services > Camtasia Studio
The Center for the Advancement of Teaching, in conjunction with the A & S Dean's Office, has established a Camtasia Studio open for faculty use.
Camtasia software is a solution for recording, editing and sharing high-quality screen video. You can easily record your screen, PowerPoint, multiple audio tracks, and webcam video to create compelling course materials. Learn more at CamtasiaSoftware.com.
In our studio we have the Camtasia software installed on both Mac and PC platforms. You are welcome to come use this studio for your online/hybrid courses. The studio is located in CAT (Library, 5th floor) and is available for use Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-4:00pm.
Please note that you will be expected to provide you own storage for your recordings. For example, you may wish to bring a thumbdrive for storage. Project sizes may vary, so a large solution (greater than 4 GB) may be best.
If you are interested in using the studio, please contact Bart Everson to arrange an appointment. He will advise as to what you should bring (e.g., relevant course materials such as PowerPoint slides, lectures).
Bart Everson is currently serving as CAT Media Artist.
Available: year round.
