Technology, Teaching, and Learning at Xavier University (1998-2007)

In 1998, Xavier University was awarded a three-year grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support a faculty development program. This grant, administered by Xavier's Center for the Advancement of Teaching, was designed to enable faculty to acquire, improve, and advance their capabilities in using information technologies to transform the teaching and learning process. In 2001, the Center proposed a renewal of the grant which was approved by the Mellon Foundation.

During its time, this grant was the Center's primary source of support for technology-related initiatives. The following initiatives supported faculty and student uses of information technology in innovative, substantive, and educationally important ways.
