Continuing their tradition of boldly going where no one has gone before, in this section, Odysseus and some of his crew meet the Cyclops, a one-eyed monster, who, rather inconveniently, happens to be Poseidon's son. Curious about the legendary Cyclops, Odysseus leads twelve of his men to "claim the stranger's gift." Unfortunately, the Cyclops is more interested in having them as dinner food than as dinner guests. Odysseus must figure out a way to rescue himself and his crew from what looks like certain doom...
