CAI-based Developmental Mathematics

Computer assisted instruction is to be used in developmental mathematics courses. Hypothesis for influences upon student attrition and performance will be tested.

UPDATE: Wednesday, November 3, 2004
Assessment plans will include a comparison of student attrition rates and performance with prior courses that did not use the computer-based materials.

UPDATE: Friday, March 18,2005
For the fall semester, the curriculum was modified with the introduction of computer-based training. Student data was collected. Currently the project is in the process of collecting student tracking information (from next course in sequence,without CBT) for comparision.
