Use of Blackboard for Reinforcement of Biology Definitions

Blackboard will be used to facilitate student pracice and recall in writing definitions related to concepts and proceses that are fundamental in a General Biology course. The system will also facilitate the ranking of fundamentals with which students may have the most difficulty. Student performance, student surveys, and faculty opinions will be included in the assessment of the impact of this Blackboard technology application.

This project was extended because of circumstances surrounding Hurricane Katrina.
