Enhancing Student Learning in CPEN 3310, Embedded Systems Course with Field Programmable Logic Arrays

To provide a practical application and increase student interest, the CPEN 3310 course will be updated using Xilinx, VHSIC Hardware Description Language, and field logic arrays. Students will have hands-on experience using the microprocessor, design a microprocessor, and revise an existing microprocessor.

This project was extended because of circumstances surrounding Hurricane Katrina.
