TLTR
Teaching, Learning and Technology Roundtable
The Teaching, Learning and Technology Roundtable (TLTR) was formed in the 1990s to bring together faculty, administrators, and ITC staff to share ideas on technology issues that impact teaching and student learning. As one might guess, the issues can vary greatly from budgetary concerns (e.g., student technology fee) to access (e.g., electronic classrooms and labs) and pedagogy (e.g., use of on-line discussion in a class).
In recent years, Dr. Jonathan Rotondo-McCord of the History Department has provided leadership to TLTR. Since Jonathan is on sabbatical this semester and, in any case, has indicated a desire to pass on the chairmanship; the Center for the Advancement of Teaching will host the first meeting of TLTR for 2004. We invite all who are interested in contributing to or finding out more about TLTR to join us.
