Classroom and Course Assessment of Active Reading Tasks

The XULA QEP requires the integration of Active Reading into courses across the curriculum. While assigning reading to students can be simple, some of the most difficult tasks for any educator are assessing if active reading is occurring and assessing if this reading results in learning. This session will assist instructors with strategies to assess learning outcomes related to course-based active reading assignments.
