Read Today, Lead Tomorrow
Minigrants
Although Read Today, Lead Tomorrow is extensive in scope, we know that the activities and programs included in it are not the only means of strengthening our students' active reading skills. Through a generous grant from the Mellon Foundation, the QEP Office is able to provide a limited number of awards up to $1,000 to support innovative methods for helping our students improve their active reading skills. Proposals for funding are already being accepted and will be awarded on a rolling basis. In this session you can hear from two of last year's awardees. Dr. Sindhu Unnithan (Mathematics) and Ms. Michele Woods (Library) will discuss and answer questions about their experiences with this unique opportunity. Dr. Jason Todd (QEP/English) will moderate the discussion and provide more information about the application and selection process.
