Data Cleaning and Visualization for Teaching
This workshop will teach participants how to clean, analyze, and visualize data sets from a variety of different academic disciplines, with a focus on how to teach data cleaning and visualization to students using best practices for academic library instruction and accessibility. Attendees who have previously attended a data cleaning and visualization workshop will have more hands-on time to practice their newly developed skills with data sets ranging from the humanities to the natural and social sciences, while also developing expertise in instructional design for data pedagogy.
