Dr. Isis Settles is professor of psychology and Afroamerican and African studies at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on issues of race, gender, and identity. She received her BA from Harvard College and her PhD in psychology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Settles is co-PI of the Faculty Excellence and Inclusion Study, a qualitative project examining the unique experiences and challenges faced by faculty of color in academia.
