Clay Play
Come get your hands dirty!
Wouldn't it be nice to put everything aside and just play for a while? There's evidence that play lowers stress and supports creativity and well-being. How come grown folks don't play more often?
Xavier faculty are invited to come out to the Art Village and play around with clay under the expert tutelage of ceramic artist MaPó Kinnord. In addition to her impressive sculptures, MaPó has explored the opportunities offered by clay to "regular people" (not just artists) for relaxation, contemplation, healing, and just plain fun.
Don't worry, you won't be graded! This will be a casual event. Come when you can, leave when you must. Snacks will be provided.
