Eliminating Anti-Black Racism in Catholic Higher Education

This campus-wide talk will cover the archetypical behaviors and institutional mindsets that encourage or prevent anti-Black racism in Catholic higher education. Guided by the principles of Catholic Social Thought, Dr. Wardell-Ghirarduzzi helps educators and leaders understand how anti-Black racism works in Catholic higher education and describes the essential role of racial equity for building solidarity and reconciliation with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) students, staff and faculty.
