Flipped Classroom Workshop
Have you ever thought, "If I didn't have to spend so much time in class lecturing on the material, I'd have a lot more time to help my students learn?"
That's the basic premise behind inverted learning, also known as the flipped model of education or simply "flipping the classroom". Whatever you call it, this method of teaching upends the traditional model that has been around since the Middle Ages by moving the content delivery out of the classroom and freeing up our ever-limited class time for active learning overseen by the teacher.
Want to learn more? Participate in CAT+FD's first flipped workshop and you will! For this workshop, you will first hear about inverted learning through a short video lecture -- before you come to the workshop. At the workshop, you will apply what heard, in order to truly learn how it works, to your own teaching.
