ENGL 1020: English Composition & Literature

My primary goal in developing this portfolio is to gain a better sense of the specific objectives I have for this course. One particular challenge I have with teaching this course is th ewide array of students who populate each class. In order to assess the effectiveness of the primary goal of improving student writing, I will track the progress of three students throughout the semester. By helping the students develop their critical and analytical skills, ENGL 1020 lays the groundwork for all aspects of the university's mission.
