Internationalizing Higher Education Institutions
Examples of Innovation from the Field

Xavier University, along with 15 other HBCUs and ACAs (Appalachian College Association), was invited to participate in the Mellon Fellow Community Initiative aimed at increasing awareness of global citizenship in the classroom and on campus. In conjunction with this project, Dr. Yolanda Moses will be visiting the campus to discuss some of the innovative things universities are doing around the country to address the issues of global awareness. She will be discussing strategies such as language learning, internationalizing disciplines, education abroad experiences, and linking international and diversity issues.
