Social Bookmarking

This 45-minute, hands-on workshop will teach you how to use a bookmarking website named Delicious. This allows you to access your bookmarks from any computer. The process is extremely simple and at the end of 45 minutes you will be an expert. In this workshop you will establish a Delicious account, learn how to save bookmarks to the account, and learn about "tagging" your bookmarks to organize them logically. Because Delicious has a social, sharing aspect (you can see other users' bookmarks, and they can see yours) you will also learn how to use it to discover new web content in your area of interest. We've booked the lab for an extended period, so after the formal session, feel free to stick around for practice and one-on-one help.
