Blackboard Virtual Drop-in Session
One-on-One Instruction

Are you short on time? Do you want to get help with those nagging Blackboard questions from the comfort of your office or home? If so, attend this virtual Blackboard Drop-in session. Faculty will be able to join this Bb Collaborate session to get individualized help. This session's format is open, providing an opportunity for faculty to receive one-on-one help with Blackboard. You can get help on topics such as uploading files; rearranging/redesigning your course menu; setting up journals, blogs, wikis and/or discussion boards; creating links to webpages or online resources; setting up online quizzes and surveys; using adaptive release to keep students on track; and setting up your gradebook.

Janice Florent will be moderating this Drop-in session providing help to faculty who want to setup their Blackboard course for the start of the semester, copy course content from a previous semester to the current semester's course, setup their grade book, work with faculty on other Blackboard features, and answer any questions they may have about Blackboard.

Please feel free to have the course material you would like to upload into Blackboard on hand.
The course material should be on your computer's hard drive, USB drive, or other digital format.

Note: This Drop-in session will be held virtually. If you plan to attend this session, please run the Bb Collaborate first time users system check at least a couple hours prior to the session's start time to make sure your computer is setup and ready to go. A headset with microphone is recommended. While it is sometimes possible to use iPhone headphones that have built-in microphones on VoIP programs like Skype, these headsets can cause heavy interference in Collaborate sessions. Therefore the iPhone type headphones are not recommended.

You will be able to join the session at 1:30 pm on Monday, Aug 25, 2014. Click this link to join the Virtual Drop-in Session.

If you are not familiar with Bb Collaborate Web Conferencing, please view this short Online Orientation for Participants video tutorial [7:20] well in advance of joining the session.
