Brightspace: Virtual Classrooms and Video Assignments
Instructors can use YouSeeU, which is integrated into D2L Brightspace, to enhance collaboration and engagement in their courses by meeting virtually with their students. Live sessions can be scheduled, delivered and recorded directly within Brightspace to hold:
- Real-time lectures
- Student-driven online meetings
- Asynchronous Q & A for spontaneous responses
- Facilitated discussions
- Office hours
- Video-based training
Instructors can choose to save their sessions and post them within Brightspace Learning Environment as a resource. Instructors can also use Video Assignments in YouSeeU, allowing students to respond to course materials, or do presentations remotely.
